  • Wednesday, June 06, 2012
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • St. Mark's United Methodist Church
Presenter: Dr. Jade Wimberley
St. Mark's United Methodist Church
451 Moraga Way, Orinda (map)

During this session Jade will introduce Wilderness Therapy and how it works, the ins and outs of the modality. She'll also introduce the group to the latest research in the industry and within Open Sky, a comprhensive holistic wilderness therapy program and the benchmark for Wilderness Therapy, nationwide.

Joining Jade will be an alumni mother, past student and former field guide/family facilitator to discuss their experiences in a panel conversation.

Jade Wimberley is a Consulting Naturopathic Physician and Program Liaison with OpenSky. She received her BA in Economics from Denison University, earned her ND from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and became the owner and founder of Zuma Natural Foods. Currently, Dr. Wimberley is living in Oakland, California doing professional outreach for Open Sky while continuing to offer naturopathic consult to the medical team. She believes that everyday there is a gift given to us by nature and that our job is simply to slow down enough to receive it.

Please RSVP to Sandy McQuillin at smcatdog@sbcglobal.net so we know for how many attendees we need to prepare space and nourishment. This is a 1-hour CEU course.
