We are pleased to announce that the Mentoring Program is now accepting applications for Mentors and Mentees. The Mentoring Program strives to provide Trainees, Interns and Newly Licensed members with additional support as they navigate their careers and professional development. Mentors gain the opportunity to share their experience and expertise while contributing the development of their colleagues in training.
Program participation requests that Mentors and Mentees agree to a one year commitment of meeting in person, via phone or online at least one hour per month. Meeting locations, modality and time will be negotiated by the Mentor and Mentee.
Program Chair, Cheryl Heinla, will oversee the Mentoring relationships, facilitate matches and initiate introductions. Throughout the program, participating members will have access to resources available to assist them in maximizing the mentoring experience and will be invited to attend trainings and the annual social specifically celebrating the mentoring experience.
If you are interested in giving back and participating in this opportunity (the Mentoring Program) as a mentor or mentee, please contact Cheryl at email@example.com.
