Want to Present a Workshop?

If you are interested in presenting a CE workshop with EB CAMFT, please review the following information about our events and complete our online application. Our CE Coordinators will respond shortly.

CE Presenter Expectations, Agreements, and Application.

Thank you for your interest in presenting a CE workshop with EB CAMFT! Before you apply, please check out the information about what you can expect from us and what we ask of you. If you have any questions, please contact us at admin@ebcamft.org.

We ask that you:

Application, Preparations, Communication

  • Complete our CE Presenter Application

  • Provide your CV (per BBS requirements)

  • Provide curricula or a lesson plan (per BBS requirements)

  • Include a brief bio and photo so we can promote your event

  • Write an article for our newsletter the month prior to your workshop (articles range from 800-1200 words in length) We will coordinate a date to submit your article by.

  • Promote your workshop through your network and mailing list

  • Agree to be prompt, clear, and consistent in communication around your event

We agree to:

Application, Preparations, Communication

  • Provide you with feedback to ensure your workshop ideas correlate with the educational needs and requests of our members

  • Promote your event on our website, newsletter, Etree forum, and calendar of events.

  • Promote your event through our networks, including Gaylesta, Chapter Leadership, CAMFT's events calendar and e-blast, Linked In, Single Payer and any other appropriate listservs.

  • Confirm technical and logistical needs for presentation

  • Be consistent, prompt, and clear in our communications with you.

Day-of, Event, Wrap-up

  • Coordinate logistics at event location and provide refreshments

  • Provide all required documentation for registration, CE certificates, and evaluations

  • Provide opportunity for attendees to sign up for your mailing list

  • Distribute your handouts

  • Introduce and assist you

  • Present CE certificates

  • Distribute and collect evaluations, collate feedback and send to you after the workshop.

  • Clean up event space

  • Ensure your workshop is compliance w/ BBS requirements for CE credit.
