Spring is in the air and hopefully the wild flowers will be in bloom. Come join us for the first of three tri-chapter hiking events for 2026! 

We will meet at 9:30am and the hike will begin at 9:45am. Craig Toonder, LMFT, is coordinating this event. Please email him at ctoondermft@gmail.com with any questions. For day of hike issues or problems, please call Craig at 510-499-7137. 

Meeting Place:
We will meet at the loop at the end of the parking lot. Look for the white loop to the left of the Blue Parking "P" on the map.

Trail Options:
No DOGS allowed on this trail.

Short Hike: Wildcat Creek Trail, Sylvan Trail, Jewel Lake Trail, Service Road past the Little Farm
Estimated distance: 1.5 miles, 164 feet of elevation

Long Hike: Wildcat Creek Trail, Sylvan Trail, Jewel Lake trail, Service Road to Loop Road, Jewel Lake Trail, Sylvan Trail, Lower Packrat Trail

Wildcat Peak Trail, Laurel Canyon, Loop Trail
Estimated distance: 2.5 miles, 230 feet of elevation

Allow for 20 minutes/mile.

Trailhead Directions:
The trailhead is at Indian Camp on the East Bay side of the park. Enter the park on Canon Dr. (Canon Drive is where Wildcat Canon Rd meets Grizzly Peak Blvd. by the Summit Reservoir. At the bottom of the hill turn left on Central Park Dr. to the Indian Camp parking area. At the end of the parking area the road loops.
