Presenter: Danielle Rosenman, M.D.
St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 451 Moraga Way, Orinda

Dr. Danielle Rosenman will speak about neuroplasticity - the way the brain changes itself - and how we can use our understanding of the basic principles which govern that change to decrease symptoms of pain, discomfort, and anxiety.

She will discuss the difference between acute and persistent (chronic) pain, how each affects the brain, and the connection between pain and anxiety at the level of the brain. Then she will introduce you to a method of learning that decreases pain and anxiety by using techniques which actually change the brain itself.

The fee for Wednesday workshops is $5 for members; $10 for non-members. Saturday workshops include a $10 member or $20 non-member fee.

Please RSVP to ceu@eastbaytherapist.org so we know for how many attendees we need to prepare space and nourishment.  This is a 1-hour CEU course.
